General curtain repairs and maintenance can be carried out in conjunction with them being cleaned –
re-hemming, repairing pleats, relining if necessary, replace loops and strings in fabric blinds. If there is still life left in your curtain fabric we can generally repair and restore your curtains to a high standard. Our Repair Process covers:
Curtains & Drapes
- All plastic bar-tacks are completely replaced on every drape.
- Hooks are checked and replacements supplied if any are missing.
- Pleats are checked, and mended as required.
- If linings are badly sun-damaged and ripped, we can supply detachable linings.
- Rehemming is available, but on cleaned curtains only.
Roman Blinds
- All plastic rings are checked and replaced as necessary.
- New sets of strings can be supplied at an extra charge.
- Some roller mechanisms cause problems after a few years, so these can be replaced by reverting the blind to a pull-up system rather than the roller system.
