I recently arranged for Curtain Clinic to come to my elderly father’s house to take down, clean and repair some curtains. Their service was absolutely brilliant. First, the woman who came to collect the curtains rang me to check about the quote before she went ahead. You so often hear of scammers taking elderly folk for a ride, so it was excellent that she took the time to check with me, once she realised she was dealing with a very elderly gentleman. Second, I was concerned that one set of curtains was coming from his bedroom, which would affect the warmth of the room at night, given that it is in the middle of winter. Without prompting, the Curtain Clinic woman hung up a blanket to keep him warm while his curtains were being repaired – talk about going the extra mile! Then, CC returned the curtains within three days (not the 10 days’ quoted). Finally, the curtains themselves: cleaned and repaired beautifully – they look just like new. If I need curtains cleaned or repaired again, I will be certainly going to Curtain Clinic first, and thoroughly recommend them to anyone.
